Five years in the making, Shadows at Dusk is Seb Xavier’s most ambitious body of work to date, a cinematic fine art photography series exploring the contradictions of modern life: beauty and emptiness, wealth and desire, love and isolation, power, consumerism, reputation and the quiet cost of being seen.
The official Shadows at Dusk art book brings the complete series together in print over 100 pages, allowing the work to be experienced as one continuous narrative. Alongside the finished photographs, the book offers a closer look into the ideas, stories and world-building behind the project, revealing details that may otherwise go unnoticed within the images.
