This is “ICARUS”, Seb Xavier's most famous work, and arguably his Magnum Opus so far. "ICARUS" retells the classic tale in a modern context, it is an exploration of human nature and how the artist believes we would react if we came upon such a sight - a statement on the world being in a perennial juncture of beauty and harsh reality.
This is a photograph made to look like a classical painting, inspired by Herbert Draper's Lament for Icarus.
